Skateboarders Lucas Puig, Stephen Khu and Clément Brunel launched Hélas Caps in 2011. Originally, the brand specialised in making accessories, caps in particular. Within a few years, the collections expanded to include a wide range of clothing with designs inspired by skateboarding and sportswear.
