Obut is proud to be partnering with the Tour de France for the third consecutive year.
Designed for lovers of sport, conviviality and shared moments, this 2026 edition celebrates the meeting of two iconic traditions that bring together thousands of people every summer along the roads, in village squares and around pétanque courts.
Obut at the heart of the 2026 Tour de France
Following the success of the past two years, Obut is renewing its partnership with the 2026 Tour de France and continuing the adventure along the roads of cycling’s most iconic race.
In both Barcelona and Bordeaux, visitors will be able to discover the world of pétanque through activities, introductory sessions, and shooting and pointing workshops led by the Obut team.

Heading to Barcelona for the Grand Départ
The 2026 Tour de France got underway under the Catalan sunshine, and Obut was right at the heart of the celebrations in Barcelona from 2 to 5 July. For four days, visitors from all over the world discovered the world of pétanque at our activity area, enjoying a warm and friendly atmosphere.
On the programme: shooting and pointing workshops, introductory sessions, and plenty of opportunities to meet and chat with the Obut team. Young and old alike enthusiastically took on the challenge, sharing a convivial moment before the riders set off.
A huge thank you to everyone who came to play, connect and discover pétanque with us. This Grand Départ was the perfect way to kick off our 2026 Tour de France roadshow.
The Tour de France stopped in Bordeaux with Obut
After a memorable stop in Catalonia, Obut continued its Tour de France journey in Bordeaux.
The brand was present at the Tour de France departure village on Place des Quinconces on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 July 2026. Just a few hundred metres from the finish line, visitors fully enjoyed the excitement and atmosphere of the event.
For the occasion, Obut pétanque courts were set up along the banks of the Garonne, offering visitors a welcoming space to play and relax in the heart of the Tour de France festivities.
Visitors of all ages had the opportunity to discover pétanque, take part in introductory workshops and meet the Obut team. The most skilled participants even had the chance to win the official Tour de France jack.
