OBUT joins forces with SPA Saint-Étienne Loire to support animal welfare
To celebrate the launch of its new Dogs & Cats leisure pétanque boules, OBUT is partnering with S.P.A. Saint-Étienne Loire to support animal welfare. From November 2, 2026, to February 2, 2027, a portion of sales proceeds will be donated to the association to help it continue caring for the animals at its shelter.
A partnership built on solidarity
Deeply rooted in its local community and committed to its values of sharing, OBUT is adding a charitable dimension to the launch of its new Dogs & Cats pétanque sets. To mark this launch, the brand is joining forces with S.P.A. Saint-Étienne Loire, a recognised public-interest organisation that works every day to protect animals and promote their well-being.
From November 2, 2026, to February 2, 2027, a portion of sales proceeds will be donated to the association. This initiative will help support its activities and contribute to funding the care of dogs and cats taken in by the shelter.
To bring this collaboration to life, the photoshoot for the new pétanque sets took place at the S.P.A. Saint-Étienne Loire shelter, alongside its four-legged residents. A meaningful way to put animals at the heart of this partnership.

S.P.A. Saint-Étienne Loire: an association dedicated to animal welfare every day
As an independent association, S.P.A. Saint-Étienne Loire welcomes and cares for dogs and cats every day. Its work relies mainly on legacies and donations, as well as the dedication of the people who keep the association running.
With a team of eight employees, including animal care staff trained by the association, and the support of 120 volunteers, it provides care for the animals and ensures their well-being. This essential commitment is made possible thanks to the dedication of its teams and the generosity of its supporters.
Tangible support to keep welcoming animals
For Nadine Clair, President of S.P.A. Saint-Étienne Loire, this partnership with OBUT represents an important opportunity:
“We welcomed this partnership proposal with great interest. We have numerous renovation and site redevelopment projects to carry out. Every partnership and every financial contribution is therefore greatly appreciated.”
Beyond the financial support provided, this initiative also helps raise awareness of the association's essential role and the challenges it faces every day. The goal is clear: to ensure the long-term sustainability of its operations, continue its animal welfare efforts and keep welcoming as many animals as possible.
Because solidarity goes beyond the pétanque pitch, OBUT and S.P.A. Saint-Étienne Loire are joining forces to turn this launch into a meaningful initiative supporting animal welfare.
